State Route 582 (SR 582) is a major 15.392-mile-long (24.771 km) highway in the Las Vegas Valley.The highway is the former route of U.S. Route 93 (US 93) and US 95 (and, historically, US 466) before they were moved to the current freeway alignment shared with Interstate 11 (I-11) formerly Interstate 515 (I-515).

The second section of SR 573 resumes at the intersection of Craig Road and Frehner Road in the city of North Las Vegas. From this point, the highway continues east on Craig Road where it has a junction at Interstate 15 and U.S. Route 93.
The road originally traversed through what is now the northern reaches of the air force range in the 1930s, when it was previously designated State Route 25A and later part of State Route 25. The top-secret Area 51 government base is near SR 375, and many travelers have reported UFO observations and other strange alien activity along this road.
The interchange was a component of a $78 million project which improved a 6-mile (9.7 km) stretch of US 95 in northwest Las Vegas between Ann Road and SR 157, and replaced what was previously an at-grade intersection. [7] [8]
