Wake the Sleeper is the 21st studio album by the rock band Uriah Heep, released on 2 June 2008 in Europe and on 26 August 2008 in the United States. The announced September 2007 release was rescheduled (initially to March 2008) as a result of the purchase of Sanctuary Records by Universal Music .

Celebration – Forty Years of Rock is an album by British rock band Uriah Heep. It mainly features rerecorded classics – which, said bassist Trevor Bolder, "chose themselves, really. The likes of 'Sunrise', 'Gypsy' and 'Look at Yourself' are songs we still play today. We just went in and redid them.

Before establishing Uriah Heep, Box's band was called Spice. The band performed from 1968 to 1969 with David Byron and Nigel Pegrum. [4] Box said they chose that name because they didn't want to get categorised into a narrow genre. "There's lots of spices, and that was our train of thought with the name of the band" said Box in a 2021 interview.
The bonus single edit of "Gypsy" was released for the Best of Uriah Heep (1991 CD) and then remastered for Rarities from the Bronze Age (1995 CD). The two other bonus tracks were originally recorded in 1969 by the band Spice, just prior to Ken Hensley joining the band.
The lyrics were written by D.B. (Dirty Boy) Cooper. The album also included a remake of "Think It Over", a song recorded by the prior (and largely different) line-up of Uriah Heep.
