Haradanahalli Doddegowda Deve Gowda (pronunciation ⓘ; born 18 May 1933) [2] is an Indian politician who served as the prime minister of India from 1996 to 1997. [ 3 ] [ 4 ] He previously served as the Chief Minister of Karnataka from 1994 to 1996 and as a Member of Parliament in the Lok Sabha .
