Howe High School is a secondary school located in the rural town of Howe, Oklahoma. The school educates students in 9th–12th grades. The mascot of Howe High School is the lion. As of 2017, the school principal is Dennis Shoup. In 2004, their girls basketball team won the Class A state championship.

The first official high school under town control was established in 1851 (although the town did not officially control it until 1916). It was named Howe School after its founder Dr. Zadok Howe. Dr. Howe funded the building of the school but died before construction was completed. His estate ran the school, free of charge to Billerica residents.
In 2008, the Butler Public Schools was seeking a merger with the Arapaho district. [5] That year, the Butler district merged into the Arapaho school district, with the merged district to have a new common identity. The State of Oklahoma's lottery funds were used to encourage a voluntary merger, and the merged district received $360,000.
