SeaWorld San Diego is a theme park in Mission Bay Park in San Diego, California. It is a marine mammal park, oceanarium, public aquarium, and marine animal rehabilitation center. In 1970, the second park SeaWorld Ohio was built in Aurora, Ohio and it featured a Dolphin Cove but in January 2001, SeaWorld Ohio was sold to Six Flags resulting in the exhibit's closure. [1] In 1973, the third Dolphin Cove opened together with SeaWorld Orlando. [2] In 1988, the fourth Dolphin Cove in SeaWorld San Antonio opened its doors. [3]

Orky and Corky were moved to SeaWorld's San Diego park a few weeks after the purchase, supposedly for mating. [6] Although Orky died in September 1988, Corky remains alive as of March 2024.
