For each technology there is a minimum grid specified in the PDK, I think you might have set the grid to ...
the effect 90 degree routing caues in impedance is so small that it causes the delay in ps which is too small to be calculated. the advantage of 45 degree is it gives constant impedance and also ease of its manufacturing. Not open for further replies.
Activity points. 2,920. with 90 routing, it will create impedance mismatch at corners that is why this is not prefered for critical signals and also due to sharp bends it will produce glitches when signals are running at high speed. Apr 27, 2013. #11.
1,393. Activity points. 30,142. 45 degree routing is optimal when you have space constraints. You can pack more tacks in the same space. If you have space, use arcs. Arcs radiate less signal compared to the 90 degree or 45 degree tracks. For small signals, the difference may not be much but for power RF, ARC is the choice.
3,974. I think arc rpouting is always better as it provides uniform trach width but it also takes lot of space so generally in high speed board 45 degree routing is done as there is a limit on the space available for routing . For Analog signals arc routing should be done as much as possible. Regards, Ricky.
Activity points. 1,708. I don't think it is possible for parts. Parts are designed in pspice such that their end points are exactly on grids for simplicity. If you rotate them by arbitrary angle it will violate that rule. so it is not possible. The feature you are asking for can only be used for wires, bus etc. Jul 14, 2013.

A circular wheel is half painted black and the other half painted white. There are 2 censors mounted 45 degree apart at the surface of this wheel ( not touching the wheel) which give a "1" for black and "0" for white passing under them. Design a circuit to detect which way the wheel is moving. Can not assume any fixed position for start.
