South Jordan is a city in south central Salt Lake County, Utah, United States, 18 miles (29 km) south of Salt Lake City.Part of the Salt Lake City metropolitan area, the city lies in the Salt Lake Valley along the banks of the Jordan River between the 10,000-foot (3,000 m) Oquirrh Mountains and the 11,000-foot (3,400 m) Wasatch Mountains.
The station is located at 11405 South Grandville Avenue (about 5150 West) with both of the station's side platforms situated in the median of that road. [4] The station is accessible from West Daybreak Parkway as well as the Mountain View Corridor (SR-85), via the Mountain View Corridor/West Daybreak Parkway interchange just to the southwest.
State Route 151 (SR-151), sometimes known as the South Jordan Parkway, is a state highway in the U.S. state of Utah connecting SR-154 (Bangerter Highway) in South Jordan to Interstate 15 (I-15) in Sandy. The route spans 4.24 miles (6.82 km) in southern Salt Lake County.
The South Jordan Station (or Sandy/South Jordan as it was referred to by UTA in the early planning stages) is located just west of I-15 at 10351 South Jordan Gateway and is accessed from either 10000 South or 10600 South (SR-151, also known as South Jordan Parkway).
Daybreak is a master-planned community of over 4,000 acres (16 km²) located in South Jordan, Utah. Daybreak was originally owned by Kennecott Land, but as of 2024, it was being developed by the Larry H. Miller Company.
