V. Jayaprakash is an Indian actor and producer who works in Tamil and Telugu films. He ventured into film business in the early 2000s as a producer, making several films under his banner GJ Cinema and later turned actor, with Cheran's 2007 film, Mayakannadi .
He made his first film, Sathi Sanam in 1997, with the film earning tax free status from the government. [1] Jayaprakash's second film Kadhal FM (2005) starred Manikandan, Shivani Singh and Aravind Akash in the lead roles. Prior to release, Jayaprakash described the film as an "out and out film of the youth, by the youth and for the youth". [2]
Prior to release, the media reported that the story was based on the life of psycho killer Jayaprakash, who killed nine of his relatives in the 1980s at Valasaravakkam, Chennai. [8] The principal shoot of the film began in March 2017, with a first look poster released featuring Jyothika and G. V. Prakash Kumar. [9]

Jayaprakash Radhakrishnan is an Indian film director and actor, who has worked on Tamil and Malayalam language films. He rose to fame through the thriller drama Lens (2016), and has gone on to make feature films including the family dramas The Mosquito Philosophy (2019) and Thalaikoothal (2023).
The film features Ashok Selvan and Janani in the leading roles, while Jayaprakash, Kaali Venkat, Jayakumar, Pradeep K Vijayan, and Rajan Iyer play supporting roles. The music was composed by Nivas K. Prasanna with cinematography by Dinesh B. Krishnan and editing by Leo John Paul .
