Hamzah Haz (15 February 1940 [1] – 24 July 2024) was the ninth vice president of Indonesia from 2001 to 2004 under President Megawati Sukarnoputri. [2] Prior to serving as vice president, Hamzah served as a cabinet minister and a member of the People's Representative Council (DPR).
