The 2023–24 season is the 137th season in the history of Wycombe Wanderers and their 31st consecutive season in the Football League. The club will be participating in League One for the third consecutive season, as well as the FA Cup , the EFL Cup , and the EFL Trophy .
In the Football League Cup, Wycombe eliminated two Premier League clubs, Fulham and Charlton Athletic, on their way to the 2006–07 semi-final; they drew with Chelsea in the home leg, but lost 4–0 at Stamford Bridge. [15] Wycombe reached the final of the EFL Trophy for the first time in 2024, but lost 2–1 to Peterborough United. [16]

After scoring a further 21 goals for Newham from the start of the 2023–24 season, Kone joined Wycombe Wanderers in January 2024 on a permanent contract, after an extended trial. Boyes played a further 17 games for Lincoln before returning to his parent club at the conclusion of the season. On 13 July 2023, Boyes joined League One side Wycombe Wanderers on a season-long loan.
