Charleston Battery is an American professional soccer club based in Charleston, South Carolina, and member of the USL Championship.Founded in 1993, the Battery are the oldest continuously operating professional soccer club in the United States.
Allan spent time with the Sunderland academy, [1] [2] before moving to the United States to play college soccer at the University of Charleston in 2019. He made 17 appearances, scoring 3 goals and tallying 3 assists for the Golden Eagles during their 2019 season. [3] In 2019, Allan also appeared for NPSL side Asheville City. [4]
Charleston is currently coached by Mark McEntire, a former University of Texas golfer, who won the 2014 & 2016 CAA Coach of the Year awards. The Charleston women's golf team has won three conference championships as well, 2006 in the SoCon and 2014 & 2015 in the CAA. The Cougars have made six NCAA Tournament appearances, most recently in 2015.

After graduating from college, Cabral returned to the University of Charleston to become an assistant coach for the men's soccer team. [5] Cabral again played in the USL League Two, joining South Georgia Tormenta 2 for the 2021 season and helping the side to the playoffs and earning himself a spot on the League Two Team of the Year.
