According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 2.97 square miles (7.69 km 2), of which, 2.72 square miles (7.04 km 2) is land and 0.25 square miles (0.65 km 2) is water. [6] All but about 200 acres (0.81 km 2) of the City is within the private closed community of Linn Valley Lakes.
