The final tenth generation F-150 rolled off the assembly line on June 28, 2004. [18] This generation of F-150 was sold in Mexico alongside the new eleventh generation F-Series through 2008. It was only available as a Regular Cab and in XL trim, while the newer model was available in more trims.
For 1991, it was exclusive to the regular-cab F-150; for 1992, it was available on all body styles of the F-150 and introduced on the Ford Bronco. The Nite edition was available with two-wheel drive or four-wheel drive with either the 5.0L or 5.8L V8; it also included a sport suspension and alloy wheels on 235/75R15 white-letter tires.
Prior to 1964, tires were all made to a 90% aspect ratio. Tire size was specified as the tire width in inches and the diameter in inches – for example, 6.50-15. [29] From 1965 to the early 1970s, tires were made to an 80% aspect ratio. Tire size was again specified by width in inches and diameter in inches.
In place of the all-season tires of the F-150, the Raptor was fitted with 315/70/17" BFGoodrich KO tires. Towing capacity is up to 8,000 pounds (3,629 kg) with a 1,770-pound (803 kg) payload (SuperCrew only). [9] Ford F-150 SVT Raptor display (2011 Detroit Auto Show)
The FX4, also called Fahrenheit F-150, was built for outdoor lifestyle enthusiasts. The Street Scene Equipment version is a lowered truck built with performance and style. The Hi-Pa Drive F-150 was powered by four electric in-wheel motors rated over 480 hp (360 kW) and over 375 ft⋅lbf (508 N⋅m) torque combined. [12]
A SuperCrew was offered in the Harley-Davidson trim as well. Ford states that a properly equipped 2007 F-150 (regular cab or SuperCab 8' box 4×2) can tow up to 11,000 lb (5,000 kg) and carry a maximum payload of 1800–3050 lb.
