Grand Duke Michael Alexandrovich of Russia (Russian: Михаи́л Алекса́ндрович, romanized: Mikhail Aleksandrovich; 4 December [O.S. 22 November] 1878 – 13 June 1918) was the youngest son and fifth child of Emperor Alexander III of Russia and youngest brother of Nicholas II.
Natalia Brasova, Countess Brasova (Russian: Наталья Брасова; born Natalia Sergeyevna Sheremetyevskaya, Russian: Ната́лья Серге́евна Шереме́тьевская; 27 June 1880 – 23 January 1952) was a Russian noblewoman who married, as her third husband, Grand Duke Michael Alexandrovich of Russia.
His parents were Grand Duke Michael Alexandrovich of Russia and his mistress, Natalia Sergeyevna Wulfert. Grand Duke Michael was the youngest son of Emperor Alexander III of Russia and Empress Marie (formerly Princess Dagmar of Denmark), and a brother of Emperor Nicholas II.

Grand Duke Michael Mikhailovich was born at Peterhof Palace in St. Petersburg on 16 October [O.S. 4 October] 1861, the third child and second son of the seven children of Grand Duke Michael Nicolaievich of Russia and his wife, Grand Duchess Olga Feodorovna (born Princess Cecile of Baden).
George was born in Madrid in 1981, the son of Grand Duchess Maria Vladimirovna of Russia (daughter and heir of Vladimir Cyrillovich, Grand Duke of Russia [3] [2]) and her husband Prince Franz Wilhelm of Prussia (titled at the time Grand Duke Michael Pavlovich, [4] [1] son of Prince Karl Franz of Prussia and Princess Henriette of Schönaich-Carolath).

Apart from Nicholas, Xenia was devoted to her other two brothers, Grand Duke George Alexandrovich of Russia and Grand Duke Michael Alexandrovich. In 1899, George died from a motorcycle accident, which was traumatic. Grand Duke Michael married without the permission of the Tsar, Natalia Sergeyevna Wulfert. The couple were exiled as punishment.
