This event is in collaboration with MOCA and the arts collective East of Borneo and aims to improve coverage of LA art since the 1980s.
Since July 2013, Unforgetting LA is a series of Wikipedia edit-a-thons to build a more accurate and diverse history of art in Southern California. It is a project of East of Borneo, an online magazine of contemporary art and its history as considered from Los Angeles.
