The club was founded in 1974. It currently fields competitive teams in Midwest's Division 1 and 3 and Club Sevens for both men's and women's. Since their inception, the Wolfhounds remain one of only two teams in the Midwest Rugby Union to compete in Division I for their entire history.
The 25th Infantry Division (nicknamed "Tropic Lightning") [1] is a United States Army division based at Schofield Barracks in Hawaii. The division, which was activated on 1 October 1941 in Hawaii, conducts military operations primarily in the Asia-Pacific region. Its present deployment is composed of light infantry and aviation units.
On 1 February 1955 the 27th Division became the 27th Armored Division, retaining many of its former units. On 1 February 1968, the division was reorganized as the 27th Armored Brigade, a unit of the 50th Armored Division.
