Doster Construction Company The Alabama Power Headquarters Building is an 18-story (98 m) corporate headquarters building located in Birmingham, Alabama . The building, completed in 1990, is part of the Alabama Power Headquarters Complex which is composed of four office buildings, two parking decks, and two parking lots.
There is a 450-seat cafeteria, 1,800-seat gymnasium, 750-seat auditorium, a practice gym and a football stadium at the new campus. A career wing houses classrooms for auto repair, welding, and culinary arts as well as science labs. Goodwyn Mills and Cawood were the architects for the new building, and Doster Construction was the general contractor.
The 1920s saw more building activity around the Quad than any other period since the initial construction of the university. It saw the construction of Nott Hall in 1922, Carmichael Hall in 1925, Lloyd and Farrah halls in 1927, Bidgood Hall in 1928, and Bibb Graves Hall, Doster Hall, and the Alabama Union (present-day Reese Phifer Hall) in 1929.

The third and present Hueytown High School began classes on August 15, 2011. Groundbreaking ceremonies were held on October 7, 2009, for this new campus with construction beginning almost immediately. The school was designed by Lathan Associates, and constructed on a 109-acre (0.44 km 2) parcel of land costing 1.58 million dollars.
