International Holocaust Cartoon Contest was a 2006 cartoon competition, sponsored by the Iranian newspaper Hamshahri, to denounce what it called Western "double standards on freedom of speech". The event was staged in response to the Jyllands-Posten Muhammad cartoons controversy . [ 1 ]
The cartoons were published by Der Stürmer in December 1925, and Rupprecht was hired by the paper. The berberisca dress (or keswa-el-kbria in Arabic) is a traditional dress for a Moroccan Jewish woman for her wedding. Traditionally a father gifts his daughter a berberisca dress for her wedding and the first time she wears it is at the henna ceremony.
