Thank you for your help. The darn thing started working! I am 70 y/o and have worked as an RN for 42 years. I was rear-ended in June of 2015. This was followed by 4 back surgeries and arthritis. So this computer gets the best of me even though I worked with them throughout my career. So I thank you for your time and expertise.

I had thousands of emails, and they have all been lost as a result of something outlook has done, not hackers or myself accidentally deleting my own emails. For the record I'm accessing my inbox through the outlook website using the Google Chrome browser.

For some unknown reason, my emails have gone all over the place. I am trying to get just the current 'sent' and 'current ;received' mail, but try as I may, I only seem to get out-dated mail showing. Having failed to access a website I was invited to 'refresh' the computer. This took about 5 minutes and when it had finished I discovered that several applications had been removed and the e-mail icon had disappeared.

Name the folder and set its properties to save emails to your computer, similar to how you had set up the missing folders. Locate Missing Email Folders and Subfolders on Computer: Search in File Explorer: Open File Explorer and navigate to the directory where Outlook stores its data files.
There are different ways of checking your saved password for emails, etc. If I'm correct please let me know, if this is not your issue, please clarify to further assist you. Thanks and regards,
