Nick Galifianakis (/ ˌ ɡ æ l ɪ f ə ˈ n æ k ɪ s /; July 22, 1928 – March 27, 2023) was an American politician, military veteran, and lawyer from North Carolina.A member of the Democratic Party, he served as a member of the North Carolina House of Representatives of Durham County, North Carolina from 1961 to 1967.
