I have had one, RT, since inception And watched its utility fade Without jail breaking and other hacks, I have used Remote Desktop to add capability The surface becomes a terminal The the host has the browser capability Host must be Win X PRO edition I am using Win 7 pro, ironic yes Works at home same network And open WiFi that don’t need ...

  3. What to do with old Surface RT? : r/Surface - Reddit

    www.reddit.com/r/Surface/comments/g5ve79/what_to_do_with_old_surface_rt

Huh, third post asking what to do with an RT within the past five hours. It's a completely locked down system, a modified ARM version of Windows 8.1, which Microsoft abandoned a long time ago. So it's of very little use now. You could try if you could use it as a wireless display with Miracast which is built in Windows 10.

  5. Getting Windows RT 8.1 to Download Updates from a Clean Install

    www.reddit.com/r/WindowsRT/comments/p6jtyk

This is a problem for Windows 7 and Windows RT 8.1, not to mention long-forgotten Vista. Of these, RT may be the worst. Windows RT on Surface 1 is locked down hard. It can only install some Windows Store apps, and nothing from the internet. It can’t even go onto the Microsoft Update Catalog website because of… processor incompatibility?

  6. Installing Android on Surface RT : r/Surface - Reddit

    www.reddit.com/r/Surface/comments/18uvxpo/installing_android_on_surface_rt

Even if it worked perfectly, the Tegra 3 processor in it was slow when it launched, and has not been made any more usable since. I’d say use the RT as a digital picture frame or maybe to stream 720p movies from a plex server or something. If you seriously need a tablet on the cheap buy a used Samsung tablet or a used iPad. Or even a Surface Go.

first of all, continuum rt isnt done. its not going to look like ptgi just yet. also, it does look the same as the video. second of all, continuum rt does look good. it has the best ray/path tracing of any shader, and looks really close to irl. the only thing thats bad about it is the underwater, but that will be fixed.

  9. Which is the better router to buy? ASUS AX-1800 (RT-AX55) or ......

    www.reddit.com/r/HomeNetworking/comments/z6qa0h/which_is_the_better_router_to...

Before, I thought the same thing about Asus which is overrated, and in my opinion, TP-Link routers are a gold standard.

  10. r/DC_Cinematic: Joker Review Megathread #1(All reviews, RT ... -...

    www.reddit.com/r/DC_Cinematic/comments/cxysk3/rdc_cinematic_joker_review_mega...

RT scores tend to drop over time. This particular film is gonna get AT LEAST 200 critic reviews. Doubt it rises or doesn’t change from here on out. I’ve always noticed, whatever the RT score is when there’s 100 or so reviews put in, that’s what it’s final score will most likely be.

  11. Is the ASUS RT-AX1800S good, and is it suitable for me?

    www.reddit.com/r/HomeNetworking/comments/ukeskx/is_the_asus_rtax1800s_good_and...

The RT-AX1800s is a cost reduced version of the RT-AX55. the AX1800s has a weaker processor so they stripped out a bunch of features to make it work. I'd honestly avoid it and just get a full RT-AX55. I have a AX55 and its working well-ish.
