Both my husband and I have Lenovo laptops (S340-15IIL Touch Laptop (ideapad) - Type 81WW and IdeaPad 5i) and after the latest windows update our integrated cameras do not work in any apps or programs.
Couple days back I updated to windows 11 and lost my access to integrated webcam. I tried updating, reinstalling my driver but hasn't worked out. Also I checked all my camera settings and also tried the Fn + F8, shutter opening and closing but nothing works. FYI - I haven't seen a specific camera driver update for windows 11.
Same here. With Drive Explorer I was able to remove all camera drivers installed by Lenovo. After a reboot, Windows Hello is not working anymore but my cameras are back in business. Funny thing is, that with the latest levono driver my integrated AND external camera is not working. UPDATE: I found the old driver version on lenovo's site:

Experiencing this same exact issue with the same laptop and camera driver. Tried updating the computer - didn't work Opened Lenovo Vantage to scan hardware and run updates - didn't work Went onto Lenovo's official website and scanned for driver updates directly there and found some updates. Applied those updates and that didn't work either.

A few colleagues and I are unable to access the camera after installing the 23H2 update. I am using WIN 11 OS Build 22631.2506. I also have uninstalled and reinstalled the driver using my laptop's manufacturer support site. I have verified the permissions are enabled in the privacy & security settings. windows optional updates are all installed
No worries Alon, We were having trouble uninstalling the Intel Extension update that caused the issue, think its version 1.0.8.0, option to uninstall was always greyed out on our devices, system restore point before the update didn't help either.

Anyway, there must be a bug or compatibility issue of the latest Windows version on your device. If you just updated Windows less than 10 days ago I suggest that you try to go back to the previous version of Windows. Open Settings > System > Recovery . Next to Go back , select Go back.
