Farwell is a village in Clare County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 880 at the 2020 census . The village is located within Surrey Township about 4.0 miles (6.4 km) west of the city of Clare .
The district is made up of fifteen schools, including four high schools, three middle schools, and eight elementary schools and early childhood center. The Huron Valley School District is known throughout Michigan for several things. It has a track and field team that has been the best in the state two years in a row.
