Eldon is in northwestern Miller County. The city is served by U.S. Route 54 and Missouri Routes 52 and 87. Jefferson City is 30 miles (48 km) to the northeast, while the city of Lake Ozark is 12 miles (19 km) to the south. Bagnell Dam, which forms the Lake of the Ozarks, is 11 miles (18 km) south of Eldon. [9]

Eugene is an unincorporated community in extreme southwestern Cole County, Missouri, United States.As of the 2020 census, the population is 140. [3] It is located 10 miles (16 km) east of Eldon on Route 17, approximately 3 miles (5 km) south of U.S. Route 54.
