Heritage Square was a Storybook Victorian theme park shopping village in Golden, Colorado. It was originally built as Magic Mountain in 1957–59. It was built by Marco Engineering, Inc., led by original Disneyland vice president C. V. Wood Jr.. The park officially closed on June 30, 2018.

The Magic Mountain site is an Archaic and Woodland village site in Jefferson County, Colorado dating from 4999 BC to 1000 AD. The site was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. [1] [nb 1] The site was named for the property owner Magic Mountain Amusement Park in the late 1950s.
