The Gothic Quarter (Catalan: Barri Gòtic [ˈbari ˈɣɔtik] or El Gòtic; Spanish: Barrio Gótico) is the historic centre of the old city of Barcelona. It stretches from La Rambla to Via Laietana , and from the Mediterranean seafront to the Ronda de Sant Pere .
