But turning off the DNS ad blocker and then turning it on is a lot harder than just toggling the extension or shield. I have to delete the two DNS servers, then choose the “automatic” option, then after downloading the youtube video, I have to choose the “manual” option and insert the two adblocker DNS server again.
AdGuard Pro. Even works on Android with Chrome. I have already tested a couple of ad blockers for safari on macos and ios including the free Adguard, 1blocker, Adblock Pro and I conclude that Adguard works best although there are times when using youtube that ads are displayed or there is a problem with video playback.

My premium has run out today and I was greeted by a shit ton of adverts. I don’t care if a good ad blocker costs over 200 a year. I’m not giving google a single penny from this point on.

It has lots of options, app filters, DNS filters, categories of lists, different formats of filter lists, logs, automation, use with or without root, a whole shebang of stuff. Pretty good.
