GMB Akash is a Bangladeshi photographer who concentrates on people living on the edge of society around the world. His work has been featured in over 100 major publications including Vogue, Time, Sunday Times, Newsweek, Geo, Stern, Der Spiegel, The Fader, Brand Ein, The Guardian, Marie Claire. etc. [citation needed] The photographs of GMB Akash have been exhibited all over the world.

Bangladesh Photographic Society is a national photographic society located in Dhaka, Bangladesh. [ 1 ] [ 2 ] [ 3 ] It had the first photography gallery in Bangladesh with its own dark room. It is a member of the International Federation of Photographic Art .
The outreach programme consisted of mobile exhibitions which went to schools, playgrounds, market places. The exhibitions were accompanied by community liaison staff who explained the context of the show to viewers. Visits to the exhibition by school children and guided tours by curators were also arranged.
