Blackstone Plaza (formerly named Kiewit Plaza) is a 210 foot (64 m), 15 story high-rise office building in Omaha, Nebraska, United States. It is located at 3555 Farnam Street at the corner of South 36th Street. [1] It was built from 1960 to 1961, and is designed in the modernist architectural style. [1]
It was built on the site of first U.S Courthouse and Post Office. Part of the New Deal building program, the structure's original occupants were all federal agencies including the US Weather Bureau, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), the Department of Agriculture, Civil Service Commission, Customs Service, Army, and Navy.
