  2. Buying a New Jeep? Tread Lightly - Jeep Wrangler Forum

Last minivan i purchased $2700 dealer incentive. Once every 3 years an additional $2300 off (from manufacturer to employee). That said a Wrangler is a high demand vehicle. With reletavely low gas prices (First time ever a suv (RAV4) led non truck sales.I am guessing the incentive to dealers is 0 to very low.

Geaux4x4. I went to one of the largest jeep clubs in my area and found what shop they recommended for re-gearing. Re-gearing is this shop's core business. Went with it and re-geared from 3.73 to 4.88 and am extremely happy. I talked with shop, distributor tech resources and gear company tech resources before picking what ratio and brand gears ...

gas over flow at fill ups. I am a new jeep owner. We purchased a 2009 Wrangler Unlimited. I was told about the over flow on the fill ups and experienced it the the first time we filled up. After reading a bunch of threads on the fix with the updated check valve tube which is around $40, I was not able to find one anywhere.

Yes, this. Or dependent on your experience, you could contact the Better Business Bureau. call the dealership back, talk to some one incharge. if they still play dumb, then see if there is another jeep dealership in the area. call them and ask. and once you do get a hold of the regional manager, make sure you tell him how the first dealer gave ...

All the more reason for dealers to suck a big bag of dycks. They act as if they are the standalone parts source when in reality they are a distributor for the manufacturer. I hate dealers service and parts counters. Useless policies make them universally complete fuktards. Some words were changed to allow proper expression of my feelings.

For years dealers have been unable to diagnose and fix the issue properly, giving JL owners the run-around for weeks and months, prompting many to give up, seek a buyback or sell their Jeep outright. In most cases, the fix involves replacing BOTH batteries with an aftermarket brand.

Years back I would take my Jeep to one place in Salt Lake as they had a head mechanic that was super. He went to a Ford dealer. So, ten days ago I take my rear-ended Jeep into my local Jeep dealer and explain that I need an oil change, E brake tighten, five tire rotation, wire a trailer brake controller, and give me an estimate on my damaged Jeep.

That’s the first I’ve ever heard an oil change being that high. I do all of our vehicle oil changes so I’m always buying 5 qt jugs of Mobile 1.
