A CCTV image shows James being led away by two older boys, which quickly leads the police to two 10-year-old local boys, Robert Thompson and Jon Venables. They were soon charged with the murder on 20th February 1993. The two boys were found guilty of the murder nine months later and were sentenced to be detained for "very, very many years".
