The Twenty Years' Crisis: 1919–1939: An Introduction to the Study of International Relations is a book on international relations written by E. H. Carr. [1] The book was written in the 1930s shortly before the outbreak of World War II in Europe and the first edition was published in September 1939, shortly after the war's outbreak; [2] a second edition was published in 1946.
International relations scholar Cüneyt Doğrusözlü criticized the book for lacking a rationale for which societies and historical events were excluded from its account, but said it was nevertheless "a good contribution to the research seeking to escape from the ontological singularity that lies at heart of Eurocentrism". [14]

Michael Nathan Barnett (born November 10, 1960) is a professor of international relations at George Washington University's Elliott School of International Affairs. [1] Known for his Constructivist approach, his scholarship and research has been in the areas of international organizations, international relations theory, and Middle Eastern politics.
He has played for the Australia national cricket team in all formats of the game since 2012, although he is primarily a One Day International and Twenty20 International specialist. [3] Maxwell is an all-rounder who is known for his sometimes unorthodox batting and bowls right arm off-break deliveries.
Stuart Christopher John Broad CBE (born 24 June 1986) is an English former cricketer who played Test cricket for the England cricket team and was One Day and Twenty20 International captain. Broad was a member of the England team that won the 2010 ICC World Twenty20 .
