Acton is a town in York County, Maine, United States. The population was 2,671 at the 2020 census. [2] It includes the villages of Acton, Miller Corner and South Acton. Completion of the north end left a 4.0-mile (6.4 km) gap between the Marlborough–Hudson and Acton–Maynard portions of the trail.
