Barbara Joan Higgins (born September 21, 1962) is best known in Southern Alberta for her 21 year career as senior anchor, writer and producer of the 6 o'clock news for CTV Calgary. After a 26 year career as a journalist, Higgins left her post at CTV in July 2010 to run for public office in the Calgary mayoral election .

Lloyd Robertson OC (born January 19, 1934) is a Canadian journalist and former news anchor who is special correspondent on CTV's weekly magazine series, W5.Robertson served as the chief anchor and senior editor of CTV's national evening newscast, CTV News with Lloyd Robertson, from 1984 to 2011, when he retired from the CTV National News team.
He then moved to Edmonton to work for CFRN radio and television, serving as sports director from 1963 until his retirement in the early 1990s. [4] [5] During his time at CFRN (branded as CTV Edmonton), McCann covered the 1980 and 1988 Winter Olympics, announcing the skiing events.
