White Witch Doctor is a 1953 American adventure horror film directed by Henry Hathaway and starring Susan Hayward, Robert Mitchum, and Walter Slezak. Made by 20th Century Fox , it was produced by Otto Lang from a screenplay by Ivan Goff and Ben Roberts , based on the 1950 novel by Louise Allender Stinetorf (1900–1992).

The second segment of the film is a series of vignettes that theatrically demonstrate medieval superstition and beliefs concerning witchcraft, including Satan tempting a sleeping woman away from her husband's bed, terrorizing a group of monks, then murdering another woman in her bed by choking her.
With Spanner acting very out of character, Keli contacts Reverend Meredith, who immediately brings in white witch Anastasia (Aysha Hauer). Anastasia casts a spell of protection on Spanner, but Marta, who has been nightly seducing and ravishing William, kills Anastasia.
