Jimmy Stewart (born September 8, 1937) is an American guitarist who has performed a wide variety of music since the late 1950s. He is best known for his association with jazz guitarist Gábor Szabó, but he has been extensively involved in many genres of music as an arranger, conductor, producer, orchestrator, musical director, and educator.
Taylor wrote a series of instructional books through Hal Leonard, a publishing company, in which he discussed blues playing, jazz playing, and phrasing. [2] He played on five Grammy Award nominated albums and was a two-time nominee for the Nashville Music Awards, "Miscellaneous Wind Instrumentalist of the Year".
