Lee Jin-sung (Korean: 이진성, born February 27, 1985), [1] better known by the stage name Monday Kiz (Korean: 먼데이 키즈), is a South Korean singer and former member of Monday Kiz. He released his first album as a solo artist on May 3, 2016. [ 2 ]
Monday Kiz (Korean: 먼데이 키즈) was a South Korean boy band formed in 2005. The group originally consisted of two members: Lee Jin-sung and Kim Min-soo, but after the death of Min-soo in 2008 the group reformed with two new members: Han Seung-hee and Lim Han-byul , accompanied by original member Jin-sung.
Lim made his debut in 2008 as a member of the DSP Media boy band A'st1. [5] The group released only one extended play and disbanded the following year. [6] Lim joined the existing group Monday Kiz in 2010 with the release of their fourth album, Ru:t. [7]
It was the first tour with drummer Eric Singer, [1] replacing Eric Carr who died of cancer on November 24, 1991. [2] [3] Singer had previously performed with Paul Stanley's solo tour and was seen as a 'natural choice' according to Gene Simmons. [4] Kiss began the tour with a leg of club shows in North America. The group released new album Psycho Circus in 1998, but by January 2001 had splintered again, as Criss left between legs of the Kiss Farewell Tour and was replaced by Singer. [ 12 ] The following year, Frehley also left Kiss for a second time, with Tommy Thayer taking over his position in March 2002. [ 13 ]
