In 2015, a company called Uniform Advantage, and the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN), collaborated to form a new scholarship program for nurses enrolled in master's and doctoral programs. Uniform Advantage is a leading retailer of medical uniforms, nursing scrubs and medical supplies for health professionals. [1]
The school has graduated more than 14,000 nurses since its establishment in 1972. The NMSC uses the PSAT/NMSQT as the initial screen of over 1.5 million program entrants. In the spring of the junior year, NMSC determines a national Selection Index qualifying score (critical reading + math + writing skills scores all multiplied by two) for "Commended" recognition, which is calculated each year to yield students at about the 96th percentile (top 50,000 highest scorers).
