Firenze Santa Maria Novella (in English Florence Santa Maria Novella) or Stazione di Santa Maria Novella (IATA: ZMS) is the main railway station in Florence, Italy. The station is used by 59 million people every year and is one of the busiest in Italy.
Also, some InterCity, express, and international trains serve Campo di Marte. The station controls most of the traffic in the Florentine area. The station has nine platforms all covered by a station-roof. There are self-service dispensers on platforms 2 and 3, 4 and 5. In 2009, the station platforms are being raised to 55 cm.

The station has four platforms with station-roofs, connected by a subway. Platform 1 is used for trains that terminate in Figline or interchanges. The trains going to Florence use platform 2 while platform 3 is used for trains going to Arezzo. Platform 4 is used for interregional trains towards Perugia, Foligno and Rome.
