Forum was founded in 1968 through a merger of various technology and business publications whose roots stretch back to 1880. Forum's stated mission is to act as an ”independent liberal magazine, editorially free from any party or organization, striving to promote a spirit of humanistic enlightenment, democracy, open and transparent business, as well as innovation and entrepreneurship”. [5]
In 1930, The Forum merged with Century Magazine, to add an upper class element to attract advertisers. Forum and Century provided articles on cures to the economic situation during the Great Depression, including a notable article by John Maynard Keynes Causes of World Depression, [61] published in 1931, years before his ideas came into vogue.
To keep the pace with global trends, Forum added two new media -a portal and English-language monthly magazine Free Time Guide Macedonia. The portal offers the same quality of contents as the magazine, with persistent rise in visits thanks to freshness, stridency and originality. It follows global standards and highest trends.
