Santa Montefiore was born Santa Palmer-Tomkinson on 2 February 1970 in Winchester. Her parents are Charles Palmer-Tomkinson, formerly High Sheriff of Hampshire, [1] and Patricia Palmer-Tomkinson (née Dawson), of Anglo-Argentine background.
