Hubbard–Radcliffe Community School District is the area school district. The district formed on July 1, 1993, with the merger of the Hubbard and Radcliffe school districts. [ 11 ] As of 2019 [update] , it has a grade-sharing arrangement with Eldora–New Providence Community School District and operates as "South Hardin Schools".

The Iowa Board of Social Welfare was founded in 1937 by the Iowa General Assembly. In 1967, it was merged with the Iowa Board of Control and Iowa Board of Parole to form the Iowa Department of Social Services. It was renamed the Iowa Department of Human Services in 1987. [1]
