The season runs from September to March and includes a 24-round regular season followed by playoffs involving the top six teams, culminating with the ISL Final to determine the ISL Cup winners. At the end of the regular season, the team with the most points is declared the ISL champions and presented with the League Winners' Shield.
The playoffs began on 19 April 2024 and concluded with the final on 4 May. [1] The top two teams in regular season, Mumbai City and Mohun Bagan SG automatically qualified for the semi-finals. Teams finishing 3rd to 6th featured in a single-leg play-off to determine the other two semi-finalists, with Goa and Odisha advancing.
