It follows teenage Tanjiro Kamado, who strives to become a Demon Slayer after his family was slaughtered and his younger sister, Nezuko, is turned into a demon. The series' first season premiered in April 2019, having aired on Tokyo MX and other networks, while from the second season onwards it has aired on Fuji TV .

Chantarelle/Lily/Anne Steele, portrayed by Julia Lee (seasons 2–3) first appears as Chantarelle, a woman who wants to become a vampire. She is saved from the vampires by Buffy (Buffy S2E7 "Lie to Me"). Later she calls herself Lily and lives in L.A. with her boyfriend Rickie.
Ken delivers a speech, but Lily pushes him off the ledge onto a concrete floor. Lily then leads the captives back up through the pool as Buffy dispatches Ken. Once all of the humans are out of the demonic dimension, the pool gateway closes. Back in her apartment, Buffy packs her bag, ready to return to Sunnydale. She gives Lily her "Anne" identity.
