I once had upgraded from Windows 11 Pro to Windows 11 Pro for Workstations (without activating) just to see if there is any difference in performance. I then changed the Windows key with the generic Windows 10/11 Pro key to go back to Windows 11 Pro. Windows activated again automatically once back online. Piece of cake.
