Hari Parbat (Kashmiri pronunciation: [haːri parbatʰ]), also called Koh-i-Maran [1] [2] [3] (Kashmiri pronunciation: [koːhi maːraːn]), is a hill overlooking Srinagar, the largest city and the capital of Jammu and Kashmir, India. It is the site of the Hari Parbat fort, built by the Durrani Empire, and of a Hindu temple, mosques, and gurdwara.
Patnitop is a hill station, located, between Ramban Town and Udhampur city in the Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir, India. The easiest route among the different routes of Harmukh is via Erin, Bandipore, [11] 47 km (29 mi) motorable road from Srinagar to Erin and 18 km (11 mi) of high altitude alpine trek leads to the base of Harmukh. Another trek leads from Naranag [12] to the base of Harmukh at Gangabal Lake, but it is a steep climb at some places. [13]
