Bristol is a town in Dane County, Wisconsin, United States, located just north of the city of Sun Prairie and 15 miles northeast of Madison. The population was 4,447 at the 2020 census. The unincorporated communities of Bakers Corners, East Bristol, and North Bristol are located in the town.
Added to NRHP. April 6, 2000. The Sun Prairie Water Tower was built in 1899 in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. [2] It was added to the State Register of Historic Places in 1999 and to the National Register of Historic Places the following year. [3] The first non-native settlers arrived in Sun Prairie in 1839. In 1840 the road to Madison passed nearby.
