The educational institution was established as a primary school in 1897 in the present building of Government College for Women, Karkhana Bazar, Faisalabad.It was promoted to high school and intermediate college in 1905 and 1924, respectively.
In 1977, the Pakistan Army's Corps of Education established the direct military unit to provide the education and training on the medical science as a residential institution for imparting undergraduate medical education to the army's cadets. [4]
