Named after U.S. Senator Estes Kefauver, the building was designed by the Nashville firm of Marr & Holman in the Modern Style, and construction began in 1948. Tennessee's 9th congressional district is a congressional district in West Tennessee. It has been represented by Democrat Steve Cohen since 2007. Hunters Lane High School (formerly Hunters Lane Comprehensive High School; commonly Hunters Lane, HLHS) is a public school in Nashville, Tennessee, operated by Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools. The school opened in 1986 and had its first graduating class in 1987. It serves approximately 1700 students.
