Patrick George Wilson (born February 1, 1969) is an American musician, singer and songwriter. He is best known as a co-founding member and the drummer of the rock band Weezer, with whom he has recorded 15 studio albums. In addition to his work with Weezer, Wilson also fronts his own band, the Special Goodness.

The pair (along with drummer Tyrone Rio) released the single "Free Lunch" in 1995, followed by the album Now Playing in 1997. In January 1994, their first child daughter Kiefer Rain Cropper, was born. Their son Jake Hudson Cropper, was born in 1999, and another daughter Devon Jade Cropper, was born in 2001. The couple divorced in 2004–2005.

The Special Goodness is an American alternative rock band fronted by Weezer drummer Patrick Wilson. It was formed in 1996 in Los Angeles, California and has released four albums. Wilson is the sole member on every album except for Land Air Sea (2003), on which he collaborates with drummer Atom Willard.
In 2004, the band released its first DVD Video Capture Device, which features a video of the Shorecrest performance as well as a video cut by Weezer.com webmaster and longtime friend of the band Karl Koch that features footage shot by Jennifer Wilson, wife of Weezer drummer Patrick Wilson.
